The Best Bottle Brush for the Money July 21, 2008 Nuknuk (Springfield, VA United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We have 3 kids and have used a lot of different bottle brushes before. Some of them even cost $10+ which is a rip off. Although this one is a little better than the others, none of them really lasts. There is actually no reason to keep bottle brushes very long because they collect bacteria and germs that you want to throw them away after a couples of months or less.
Available in different colors.
It has a screw-in nipple brush inside the handle.
Pros:
-The biggest plus about this brush is that the foam on the tip is strong and durable. It has a rougher texture than ordinary foams.
-Value wise, I am very happy with this product. Available at some popular local stores around 2$
-Very simple design
-Good handle grip
Works Great September 6, 2008 F. C. Dempsey (Colorado, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've used this product for two months and it has been great. I use Medela bottles. My bottles come out very clean, and the nipples shine like new! The sponge on this one is very sturdy, but I've seen other brands with the same design with flimsy sponges, so be careful there.
The nipple brush is starting to rust just a tiny bit, but it's been a couple months and it doesn't breathe in the handle very well even with the small vents. I place my brush angled in a holder over the sink to dry; maybe if you dry the nipple brush separate it will do even better.
It's becoming time to get another brush and I will happily get another one of these. For a few dollars it is a great value because it works fast and wonderfully.
Best I've tried May 21, 2008 Danielle Hair (Westfield, NJ) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This brush works very well with the Dr Brown's standard bottles. The handle on the big brush is comfortable and the mini brush cleans the nipples well. (You have to air dry them separately.) It lasts approx 2-3 months before the sponge starts to fall apart, but it's probably not sanitary to use a brush for longer than that anyway.
Too small, bad nipple brush October 28, 2009 Molpadia (WI) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These brushes are fine for the small glass Munchkin bottles and some narrower breastmilk storage bottles (like Medela), but they are not good for wider storage bottles or longer nursing bottles. Also, the nipple brushes are pretty bad and I ended up not using them at all.
That said, the quality of these brushes is great.
nipple brush is too thick but otherwise good April 29, 2009 K. McNett (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Use this all the time to clean a variety of different sized bottles and nipples. Has a nice big sponge on the bottom and soft (nylon?) bristles on both the bottle and nipple brush. My main complaint is that the wire base of the nipple brush is so wide that it barely fits into the nipples. Also with the wire I'm afraid I'm going to scratch and wear down the nipple by scraping around in there with this. If the nipple brush were more narrow with more bristles it would be better. Also they make one with a suction cup base now which is better than having your nice clean brush touch the bottom of your dirty sink. We have a regular dish washing brush that has a suction cup bottom and it is great.
Love that it comes in fun colors, has a big comfortable handle also.
